Kilda

Next project is Kilda by Sarah Hatton.

It was really long term project from November 2011 to March 2012.

My gauge was different so I recalculated all pattern for new gauge and my size.

I enjoy result. It's warm enough for our cold spring.

Yarn: Cascade Yarns 220 Wool (100% Wool ; 100 grams - 220yds/200m)

2.6 skeins of Charcoal Gray and 3 skeins of Silver Gray.

Needles: US 7 - 4.5 mm for main pattern, US 6 - 4.0 mm and US 4 - 3.5 mm for ribs.

Проект был долгим с ноября 2011 по март 2012, периодически вязание откладывалось, а потом я снова возвращалась к нему.  

Моя пряжа была толще чем заявлено в описании, поэтому все пересчитано под себя с учетом плотности вязания. 

Результат порадовал. Да и жакет оказался достаточно теплым для нашей холодной весны (протестировано при +8). 

Grasshopper / Кузнечик

My laziness and weather allow to show my next project Grasshopper a.k.a. Clockwork by Stephen West.

These colors match to my green eyes. I'll show them some day. Maybe... :))

Yarn: Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool (45% Wool, 35% Silk, 20% Nylon; 192 yds/176 m), 1 skein of Hunter Green and 1.7 skeins of Sapling Green
Needle: US5 - 3.75 mm.

WIP - Peterborough

I just wanna to show my WIP because I'm too lazy to get pics of my two projects finished in March. Am I kidding? No.
I hope pics will be ready soon.

Carrie

One more knitting project for mother-in-law.
She wanted a lightweight jacket or cardigan with interesting texture. We chose Carrie by by Kim Hargreaves.
I think this design is a good choice for all ages :)

Size: 46"
Yarn: 13 skeins = 1781 yds/1628 m) of Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Sport (100% wool, 50 grams - 137 yds/125 m) in Sprinkle Heather colorway
Needles: US 2½ - 3.0 mm, US 1½ - 2.5 mm

Mods:
1. I used stitch pattern and logic of this design but made a lot of mods in the construction for better fit.
2. Long sleeves
3. No picot

Она хотела тонкий жакет или кардиган с интересной текстурой. Мы выбрали Carrie by by Kim Hargreaves.
Я думаю, этот дизайн подходит для всех возрастов.
