Powder pink

New shawl is the first try to knit thin linen yarn.
Not easy to knit but result is fabulous!
It drapes well and feels deliciously light and soft but little crisp as real linen fabric (become softer in use).

 It is a modified version of my old pattern Cherry Garden.
No nupps, no side edges.

 Size: 67 1/4” x 31 3/4” (171 x 81 cm)
Yarn: 100 g = 656 yds / 600 m of LitYarn 100% Linen
Needles: US 5 - 3.75 mm

The Cat in the .... Scarf

The cats' gang met new member Cat in the Hat Scarf :)))
But this Cat also moved as some of the gang members.
He lives with my friend Ksenia in Saint-Petersburg, Russia  now.

Но, как и некоторые другие участники банды, он переехал. Теперь он живет у моей подруги Ксении в Санкт-Петербурге.

Materials used: fleece, felt, cotton thread, iron-on adhesive interfacing, wool hand knitted scarf :)
Испольуемые материалы: флис, фетр, хлопковая нить (вышивка), клеевой двусторонний флизелин (?), шерстяной шарф ручной вязки.

Кошачий "тыл" для интересующихся :)

Этот пулловер связан сверху, без швов с помощью метода ...точно не знаю как его назвать на русском... наверное "непрерывного рукава"... глубоко задумалась... (contiguous-set-in-sleeves), разработаный SusieM.

Yarn: Cascade Yarns Cotton Rich DK (DK / 8 ply, 64% Cotton, 36% Nylon, 135 yds / 123 m in 50 grams)
4 skeins = 540 yds 494 m in Denim colorway
4.5 skeins = 608 yds / 556 m in Silver colorway
Needles: US 6 - 4.0 mm, US 2½ - 3.0 mm
Size: M to fit S

All mitts were made from worsted weight / 10 ply  yarn  (about 220 yds / 200m in 100 gr) with US 7 - 4.5 mm, US 6 - 4.0 mm

The next project is Confetti shawl in rich violet / amethyst color.
Pantone includes violet color to Fashion color report spring 2013.

Yarn: 437 yrd / 400 m of Cascade Yarns Alpaca Lace in Amethyst Heather colorway ( 50 grams).
Needles: US 4 - 3.5 mm
Size: the shawl has half-circle / crescent  shape
internal half-circle 47” / 120 cm, external half-circle 79” / 200 cm,
max width 14” / 35 cm, min width 9” / 23 cm
