Spring is finally here :)

Colorful stripes vest aka "Colors of my day"

This vest was designed for Knit Picks IDP program.

This stripy vest can be used as a main garment or versatile addition to everyday outfit.
Pattern is quick and easy knit with stockinette stitch and slip stitches.
This vest pattern is worked in two pieces, the ribbing for the neckline and armholes are worked in the round.

 

Sizes available:  32" (34, 36, 38, 40, 44, 48)" / 81 (86, 90, 96, 100, 110, 120) cm bust circumference.

Yarn: Knit Picks Swish DK (100% Merino; 123 yds (112 m) in 1.76 oz/ 50 gr.
Needles: US 4  (3.5 mm), US 2½ (3.0 mm)

On mid of February I started Bridgehampton Jacket by Vladimir Teriokhin from Tahki Stacy Charles, Seaside Tweed. 

Back and front have been done for today. And I'm working on sleeves.

I hope I'll finish this jacket soon :)

March 7 Monday morning or I hate winter

This March morning showed that winter is still powerful.
There was about 1.5 feet snow accumulation.  Aaaaaa!!!
It was not once but fifth ... or tenth... or... "once in lifetime snowfall" this winter.

Это мартовское утро показало, что зима все еще сильна... 
Выпало около 50 см снега. 
Это был не первый, а пятый  или десятый или... "снегопад, который случается раз в жизни" за эту зиму.

8 a.m. - Shovel from here to power line
8 утра - Копать отсюда и до столба. 

11.50 a.m. - I see end
11.50 утра - Финиш виден.
