Leaf Garland Shawl pattern

My newest shawl design Leaf Garland Shawl pattern has been published today on Knit Picks web site and Ravelry  :)

Yarn: Knit Picks Lindy Chain  140 grams  = 504 yds / 460 m , color Celery (Fingering / 4 ply, 70% Linen, 30% Cotton, 180 yds / 165 m in 50 gram)
Needle: US 6 - 4.0 mm
Finished size: 140x70 cm / 55” x 27”


Leaf Garland shawl is a triangular shawl worked bottom up with asymmetric leaf lace pattern.
Available in two versions:
Version 1: asymmetric leaf lace border with eyelets body
Version 2: asymmetric leaf lace stripes throughout the shawl.
Size: 55” x 27” / 140 x70 cm, easily customizable (instruction provided).
You can finish your shawl when you get the desired shawl size or run out of yarn.

Spruce cowl pattern

My new pattern Spruce cowl has been published a few days ago.

The cowl with textured and cabled pattern is cozy and warm.
Pattern is available in two sizes small and large (twisted twice around a neck) and adapted for flat knitting (buttoned cowl) and knitting in the round.
        

Length / Circumference relaxed after blocking:
Small - 19.5”/50 cm
Large - 47”/120 cm
Width: 9”/22 cm
        
Cowl size is easily adjustable.
Functional buttons give more options of wearing large size cowl and using it as a scarf.

One of the largest US yarn companies Knit Picks featured my Forest Beauty shawl in their printed version of May 2012 catalog.

Одна из крупнейших американских компаний по продаже пряжи Knit Picks отметила мой дизайн Forest Beauty shawl в печатной версии каталога за Май 2012.  

This is my the third design in Knit Picks catalog. The first featured design was my Sunny top in April 2011, the second was my Confetti shawl in March 2012.

Это уже второй мой дизайн, который был отмечен в каталоге Knit Picks. Первым был напечатан мой Sunny top в Апреле 2011 года, вторым - Confetti shawl в Марте 2012.

Spruce Hat and Mitts patterns

I've just finished my new design Spruce Hat and Mitts in textured and cable pattern for KnitPicks Independent Designer Program.

   


It is a good project for beginners and fast funny knit for advanced knitters.
Hat is seamless and knitted in the round.
Mitts are knitted in the round from the cuff to the top.

Olga shawl pattern


This shawl is named in honor of my mother who taught me how to knit and crochet from a childhood.

Olga shawl is triangular shawl with simple lace pattern worked bottom up in one piece including lace edges.

This pattern contains both written instructions and charts.

Sampler shawl size after blocking: 55”/140 cm wingspan, 24”/60 cm deep.

The shawl can be made with a variety of yarn fibers, weights and needle sizes. You can easily customize your shawl size depending on the amount of yarn you have. You can finish work when you get the desired shawl size or run out of yarn.

Confetti shawl pattern


Confetti shawl is a half-circle shaped shawl knitted in two halves from center provisional cast-on.
Lace pattern is worked top down, garter stitch pattern is worked bottom up. Lace pattern increasing and short rows give the shawl its half-circle shape.

This pattern contains both written instructions and charts.

Cherry Garden

I would like to present my new design Cherry Garden Shawl.

Cherry Garden Shawl is a triangular shawl with nupps (cherries) and lace side edges.

Pattern is both written out and charted.
The shawl is worked from center back to the bottom edge. Increases are worked on right side only.
A variety of yarn fibers, weights and needle sizes are suitable.

Colorful stripes vest aka "Colors of my day"

This vest was designed for Knit Picks IDP program.


This stripy vest can be used as a main garment or versatile addition to everyday outfit.
Pattern is quick and easy knit with stockinette stitch and slip stitches.
This vest pattern is worked in two pieces, the ribbing for the neckline and armholes are worked in the round.
 

Sizes available:  32" (34, 36, 38, 40, 44, 48)" / 81 (86, 90, 96, 100, 110, 120) cm bust circumference.

Yarn: Knit Picks Swish DK (100% Merino; 123 yds (112 m) in 1.76 oz/ 50 gr.
Needles: US 4  (3.5 mm), US 2½ (3.0 mm)

Morning Glory Shawl

One more shawl :)


Morning Glory is a slightly crescent shaped triangular shawl with lace border.
The shawl is worked from center back to the bottom edge. Increases are worked on right side only.
A variety of yarn fibers, weights and needle sizes are suitable.

Images show the Morning Glory shawl (Small size) in Stroll Tonal Blue Violet.

Small size - 50 inches wingspan, 18 inches deep
Large size - 58 inches wingspan, 24 inches deep

Yarn utilization:
For Small size 420-440 yards, for Large size 600-650 yards sock or other fingering weight yarn
Needles: US 7/ 4.5 mm

Шаль Morning Glory (Вьюнок) - слегка серповидная трeугольная шаль с ажурной каймой.
Прибавления выполняются только на лицевой стороне.
Описание содержит письменные инструкции и схемы.
На фото шаль маленького размера.

Размер шали:
Маленький - 130 см размах, 46 см глубина.
Большой - 155 см размах, 60 см глубина.

Расход пряжи для шали маленького размера - менее 1 мотка (100г.) носочной или иной пряжи Fingering weight (462.0 ярдов/422.5 метров в 100 граммах), для шали большого размера - 1,5 мотка.
Спицы: US 7/ 4.5 мм

Forest Beauty Shawl

 This shawl was inspired by song of Belorussian Vocal Instrumental Ensemble “Syabry” “Girl From The Woodlands”.

This simple shawl in stockinette stitch with lace leaf border is a good project for beginners and fast funny knit for advanced knitters. It is a choice for those who don’t like to cast on and bind off. 

Size: 60 inches wingspan and 15 inches deep after blocking.
Yarn: 1 skein of Knit Picks Shadow Tonal (100% Merino, Lace / 2 ply, 440 yards/400 meters in 1.76 ounces/50 grams).
Lace pattern are both written out and charted.
Needles: US 4 (3.5 mm)

На создание этой шали меня вдохновила песня  ВИА “Сябры” - “Девушка из Полесья”.

"Лесная красавица" - шаль, выполненная лицевой гладью с ажурной каймой из листьев. Может быть подходящим проектом для начинающих и быстрым вязанием "в удовольствие" для опытных вязальщиц.
Отличный выбор для тех, кто не любит набарать и закрывать петли.
Размер: 150 см х 38 см после блокировки.
Пряжа: 1 моток Knit Picks Shadow Tonal (100% Мeриносовая шерсть, 400 метров в 50 граммах).
Спицы: 3,5 мм (US 4).

Not summer project - Lace Gloves


This project was made for Knit Picks IDP program.

The Lace Gloves are knitted in the round from the cuff to the top on double pointed needles. Cuffs are worked in 1x1 rib, with the knit stitches worked through the back loops makes gloves fit perfectly. A simple lace panel gives these gloves a feminine look.


Finished size:
Hand circumference above thumb 7 1/2”- 8” (19-20.5 cm), but its stretchy is enough to fit a larger hand.
Length tip of middle finger to bottom of cuff 10 1/2”-11 1/2” (27-29 cm)

Yarn: Knit Picks Gloss Sock Yarn (70% Merino Wool, 30% Silk; 220yd/201m) 1.5 1,76oz/50g hanks

Это проект был подготовлен для Knit Picks IDP program.
Ажурные перчатки связаны вкруговую от манжета вверх. Манжеты выполнены ркзинкой 1х1 со скрещенными петлями для лучшей посадки по руке. Простой ажурный узор придает женственности этой модели.

Размер: Окружность руки над большим пальцем - 19-20,5 см, но эластичности достаточно для более крупной руки. Длина от кончика среднего пальца до нижней границы манжета - 27-29 см.

Пряжа: 1,5 мотка Knit Picks Gloss Sock Yarn (70% Мериносовая шерсть, 30% Шелк; 200м. в 50г.)
